from vibrant downtown Nashville, Tennessee. From the peaceful sanctuary of our 65-acre
campus to the lively and enriching city center in only a few minutes, it's literally

- Lipscomb University was established in 1891, by David Lipscomb and James A.
Harding. Their goal was to create a premier educational institution that aspired to
academic excellence, regarding Christian teachings as the foundation for
learning. This goal remains our guiding mission today.
- As a member of the NCAA Division I Atlantic Sun Conference, the Lipscomb
Bisons field a number of athletic teams in both men's and women's sports. Our
