Explore Academics at Lipscomb

At Lipscomb University, we take academic excellence seriously. Our commitment to faith-informed studies is what makes us unusual; our passion for learning is what makes us unique.

Our scholarly and distinguished professors have been trained at prominent universities like Duke, Notre Dame, Vanderbilt, Emory and Princeton. Dr. Alan Bradshaw, winner of the prestigious Nightingale Prize for his research on biomagnetism at Vanderbilt University, is just one example.

Not only are our professors respected professionals in their fields, they are also dedicated teachers. At Lipscomb, you'll find small, engaging classes, with professors who strive to establish rapport with students and guide them on their path to academic and spiritual growth.

With over 130 programs of study in 47 majors, Lipscomb offers you the opportunity to pursue your calling in any field. You can choose to receive a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Music in Music Education, Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. We also offer graduate degrees in Bible, business, conflict management, counseling and education. And, beginning in Fall 2008, our new College of Pharmacy will offer a full Doctor of Pharmacy program.
