FOR ADMITTED STUDENTS
Welcome to Lipscomb!

We're excited that you've decided to join our community and make Lipscomb your academic home for four years. As a new student in the 21st century, you have an important role to play in lighting the way for your friends, family and peers. We hope that your time at Lipscomb will help you find this role. At Lipscomb, you will discover a community deeply dedicated to helping you grow, both academically and spiritually.

We want to make your transition as smooth as possible, so we've designed a few programs to help with the process. You can learn more about these resources here.

Lipscomb Central
Lipscomb Central is your home base for managing all the details. You will find all kinds of resources there; you can register for classes, view your grades, update your personal information and explore class offerings. To login, you'll need your Lipscomb ID number and your Personal Identification Number.

ADVANCE Orientation Program
Want to get the inside scoop on campus living and get a head start on settling in to Lipscomb and making new friends?

Of course you do!

So join us at ADVANCE
, our summer orientation program for first-time freshmen. ADVANCE 2008 takes place on June 23 - 24, July 24 - 25, and August 18 - 19. Your ADVANCE registration packet will be mailed to you in late March or early April. If you lose the packet, don't worry. You can also register online.

We developed ADVANCE -- two solid days of fun and bonding -- to help new students get the most out of their experience at Lipscomb. During ADVANCE, you'll learn about campus life, receive academic counseling, enroll for classes and make friends with other incoming freshmen. You'll participate in fun and informative activities hosted by members of our Quest Orientation Team. You'll spend the night in a residence hall, staying close to the action and getting a sneak peak at life at Lipscomb.

Residence Life
When you're admitted to Lipscomb, your acceptance packet should also contain forms for housing reservation and health information. To reserve your residence hall room, please complete and return the housing reservation form, along with the required deposit.

All freshmen are required to live on campus. With five different residence halls, you will have several options for your residential experience. To learn more about Residence Life, click here.

In addition, don't forget to complete your Student Health Record Form and mail it back to the address on the form. For more information about Lipscomb's health form, just refer to our Frequently Asked Questions.
