Johnathan Akin is originally from Bowling Green, Kentucky. He graduated from Lipscomb in 2001, with a degree in marketing and management. Johnathan considers his time at Lipscomb to be the best four years of his life... a great experience that led to lifelong friendships.

Johnathan and his wife Brooke share a passion for mission work, and have traveled to many destinations, including Australia and New Zealand. They have no children yet, but hope to start a family in the future! In 2004, Johnathan joined Lipscomb again, now working in Admissions.

When not working, Johnathan enjoys skiing, watching movies, and spending time with Brooke. He's also just completed his MBA in May of 2007.

Johnathan coordinates our Campus Events and serves as Admissions Counselor for students who are not yet high school seniors.
