Sylvia Braden is originally from Detroit, Michigan. She graduated from Lipscomb in May 1998, with a major in Psychology and a minor in Biology. She went on to earn a Master of Arts in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix.

Sylvia is now back at Lipscomb. As a student at Lipscomb, she enjoyed the chance to grow both spiritually and academically, building lasting friendships with others who shared her Christian faith. As a counselor, she now helps bring this opportunity to new students!

In her spare time, Sylvia enjoys reading, cooking, shopping, spending time with friends and watching football with her husband and son. She also teaches in the Young Ladies Training Program at the Schrader Lane Church of Christ.

Sylvia serves as the Admissions Recruiter to transfer and international students.
