Concerned about your financial situation? There are many scholarships that are
sponsored by outside organizations and available to Lipscomb students. Take some
time to investigate the possibilities. With creativity and determination, you can find a
financial aid solution that will work for you.
There are many resources and options available to help you find sources for financial
aid. We recommend these steps...
- Talk to your high school guidance counselor. He or she probably receives
scholarship information from many organizations, and can help you narrow down
your options based on your situation. Additionally, your counselor may be aware
of specific local or regional opportunities.
- Talk to your Admissions Counselor or visit our Financial Aid office, located on the
ground floor of the Crisman Administration Building. We have additional
resources for you to review, including a book of scholarship opportunities offered
by community organizations and professional corporations. And of course, we're
here to answer your questions.
- Visit our scholarship resource page to find more
information on a variety of scholarships. We've collected links to many sources of
funds based on need, talent, potential, diversity, and more. You can explore the
links to find scholarships from public agencies, ROTC and military funds, nonprofit
organizations and charitable foundations.
- Use the internet to research other outside scholarships. The scholarship
resource page has a list of sites to help you identify additional scholarships for which you
qualify. Follow the link and look for the category titled External Scholarship
Search Websites. These sites draw from large databases to help you match
your profile to appropriate scholarships.
- You can also check with your state's higher education agency. A list of these
agencies and their contact information can be found here.
