FOR HIGH SCHOOL COUNSELORS

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about Lipscomb! Lipscomb University offers a unique education for students interested in the Christian faith -- a premier academic curriculum that integrates Christian values with higher learning. At Lipscomb, students can continue their growth and development in all areas: intellectual, social, physical and spiritual.

Classes are taught by devoted and highly qualified faculty... such as Dr. Bradshaw, winner of the prestigious Nightingale Prize for his research on biomagnetism. Small class sizes and a 15:1 student-faculty ratio encourage active participation and meaningful instruction. Students attend daily Bible classes and chapel, exploring their faith and growing in the image of Christ.

Our active campus life offers many opportunities for service and socializing. Students are also encouraged to explore opportunities in foreign missions programs and study abroad; in fact, during Spring Break, 600 Lipscomb students traveled to 17 countries to offer hands-on service of all kinds.

Athletics thrives at Lipscomb, with our Bisons and Lady Bisons and a comprehensive program of intramural and intercollegiate athletics. Our NCAA Division I team plays against other well-known teams like LSU, Kentucky, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Missouri, Arkansas and South Carolina.

Lipscomb graduates go on to a number of prestigious careers in many fields. Leaders from various industries come to campus to network with students, during special events like job fairs and Meet the Firm outings. Graduates have gone on to become college professors, doctors, judges, a secret service agent, a PR exec for the Tennessee Titans, an aerospace engineer for Boeing and more. Recently, 100 percent of our education students passed the state teaching exam, before heading off to new jobs... lined up before they even left Lipscomb. An average of 95 percent of Lipscomb students who apply for medical school are accepted -- generously out-performing the national acceptance rate.

In summary, Lipscomb has what it takes to give your students the edge that they need to succeed. We hope that you'll tell your students about us.
